The calculator uses the salary or hourly rate, hours, weeks, filing status, state and pay frequency you enter to compute an estimate in your browser. The site's calculator code does not send those values to a PaystubLedger server or save them in a site database. Values remain in page memory until you change them or leave the page. Avoid entering information about an identifiable person's actual payroll unless you are comfortable doing so on your device.
